I want to run
I want to hide
I want to tear down the walls
That hold me inside
I want to reach out
And touch the flame
Where the streets have no name
I want to feel sunlight on my face
I see the dust cloud disappear
Without a trace
I want to take shelter from the poison rain
Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We're still building
Then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you
It's all I can do
The city's aflood
And our love turns to rust
We're beaten and blown by the wind
Trampled in dust
I'll show you a place
High on a desert plain
Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We're still building
Then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you
It's all I can do
Our love turns to rust
We're beaten and blown by the wind
Blown by the wind
Oh, and I see love
See our love turn to rust
We're beaten and blown by the wind
Blown by the wind
Oh, when I go there
I go there with you
It's all I can do

But now I can add my Grandmother to the list??
Today she decided that I look like Catherine Zeta-Jones
Suprisingly, i've actually heart that before!
Catherine Zeta Jones Hubby & I
Hmm.. what do you think?
How dare you presume to come yell at me (in front of my children) because my rear bumper was 6" too close to the crosswalk for you!
Walking over to my car while my child is trying to put on her seat belt, screaming "Why don't you just park on the sidewalk??"
WTF woman??
I told you I was just about to leave, I was just waiting for my daughter to do up her seat belt, and you yell, "You were parked here! I saw you!"
Well yes, I was parked beside of the school, sitting in my car, with it running because my 3 year old was asleep in the back, and I didn`t think my 8 year old should have to scour the neighborhood looking for our car when it was -abazillion outside!
Since parking too close to the crosswalk was such an issue for you, what would have been a better alternative for me?
- Park in front of someone's house and hope my daughter doesn't freeze before she finds me?
- Leave my sleeping child locked in the (not-running) car in front of someone's house while i went to the school doors to wait for her?
- Leave my sleeping child in a running, unlocked car in front of someone's house while i went to the school doors to wait for her?
- Wake up my INCREDIBLY GRUMPY toddler (who had been sleeping all of 5 minutes), bundle her up, park in front of someone's house and go wait at the school doors, with my toddler crying and screaming and tears freezing to her face?
It must be great to run around judging and screaming at random strangers without even wondering *why* they might have made the decisions they did. You didn't even look at my sleeping toddler, or care that my daughter was still putting on her seatbelt.
For me, it was easy, find a parking spot as close to the doors as I can so that my toddler can still sleep, and my 8 year can see me and quickly get into the car and leave. I was there for EXACTLY 4 minutes. I was not hindering anyone. Everyone could see the children and the crosswalk, it was a win win.
Loser. You give Moms everywhere a bad name.
